I know i haven't posted anything in a very long time and i'm really sorry for that.
So now there's quite a bit to tell :)
Today was my last school day before the christmas holidays, so i finally have time to write.
First thing, I tried out for volleyball and I got on the team. I had to go to the try-outs one time after school, just 12 girls tried out so everybody got on the team!
So I had practice everyday after school or before school for 2 hours, an than 1-4 games every week.
But the problem was everybody plays really good and i never really did it before so the coaches wouldn't let me play at games. So i would have spent a lot of time in practicing, for basically nothing.
So I quit.
Second thing, i'm going to a bible study with 5 other girls. The whole study is about 'being real in a fake world'. All the girls are awesome, so i really enjoy these nights. We get together once a week and talk a lot. Also an exchange student from spain goes to that bible study, it's great that i got to know her.
Third thing, i'll join the 'girls 10k-team' at school. So i'll run 10k in May in Ottawa with other girls together. We practice now in the winter once a week and go on an easy run and in February we will start to practice 3 times a week. I know the girls already, because they were on the cross country team so yeah.
Everything else is pretty good!
I finally have friends at school, which makes me pretty happy, my hostfamily is awesome, school is relaxed, and christmas is coooming!
I'm so excited for christmas, my hostfamily will do an 'Open House' Christmas Eve (24th of Dec), so that means everybody can come to our house and we'll have turkey together and a lot of other food.
My hostmum and I also did a lot of christmas baking the last weeks so we'll eat a lot of cookies and candy that night too :)
And the exchange student from the Netherlands that lived with my hostfamily last year will come for a visit for christmas, so i'll finally got to meet her, which is really exciting!
Sooo, right now i can't really think about anything else that happened, probably some other things will come into my mind in the next days, so there will be some other posts in the next days :)
